Each time you get hit in combat, you lose Endurance and when it reaches 0 you get knocked out. Health is your overall health, Endurance is your in combat health bar so to speak. Pillars of Eternity 1 uses two health systems. For most symbols, you can hover your mouse over them and it will display what it is and what beneficial or harmful effect it's causing. It happens either due to story reasons, failed athletics skill checks, or just because your party has been going on for too long without sleep. There is no method of resurrection in the PoE universe so you need to make sure a player or companion never reaches 0 in the green health bar.Īs for the fire icon and crescent shape, I think it's the symbol of fatigue.
